How much are the legal fees in a personal injury?

Usually, a personal injury case is handled on a contingent fee or done on a contingency basis. This means that the attorney is paid 1/3 of the settlement. In other words, there is no fee unless you win your case and then the lawyer’s fee it is taken out of the money you recieved on your case. For example, if you received $9,000.00 on your case, the lawyer would get $3,000.00.
